Teaching climate change, together
Join us at NYU to talk about how you teach climate change, hear what colleagues are trying, and work through questions from your own classroom or program.
We’ll hear educators’ stories, spend time with their ideas during a gallery walk, and discuss the goals and challenges you share when you RSVP.
Who should come?
Classroom teachers, informal educators, and people who provide climate education or professional learning are welcome.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Whether you already teach about climate change or want to get started, we’d like to hear what you’re thinking about.
What’s planned
Agenda subject to change
- Welcome from STEMteachersNYC and the NYU Wallerstein Collaborative
- First round of storytellers, including Climate Microcredential alumni
- Gallery walk of stewardship stories and ideas, with time for questions
- Lunch break
- More educator stories, followed by discussion of the goals and challenges participants have brought

Where at NYU will we meet?
We’ll meet at NYU Pless Hall, 82 Washington Square East, New York, NY 10003. After you RSVP, we’ll send a calendar invitation with location details.
Do I have to present?
No. You’re welcome to listen and take part in the discussions. If you would like to share a story, choose that option on the RSVP form.
What if I don’t want my photo shared?
Select the “Please no photos” option on the RSVP form.
