Are you already integrating or soon to be engaging your students in engineering, robotics, or other related “maker” activities?  Either way you’ll want to attend our Maker Education Forum.

We as STEM educators know the “maker” movement continues to grow as more educators see the value and benefits associated with student learning and student career paths. So whether you are thinking about setting up a maker space at your school? Or already have one up and running, and are curious to see what others are doing? Join us for a structured conversation and sharing of resources around three aspects of maker education for grades 6-12:

  • + philosophy – why maker education?
  • + curriculum – how do I do this with the kids?
  • + equipment – what do I need for a maker space (and how to pay for it)?

This workshop will involve whole group conversation, small group discussion, and time for planning and networking.  Join us to discuss and share your experiences both successes and challenges associated with maker education.
