About the Mini-Workshop
Let’s get together for an electrifying experience! In person, on site at Skill Mill NYC, a maker space for educators and students in Manhattan. Join us for a two hour workshop to create a town and a model of an electric grid. We will focus on using simple circuits and easy to find supplies. You will take home a sample project and be ready to use the project immediately with your students.
STEM in the City Spring 2022 is a a (mostly) FREE In-person series for teachers! This spring STEMteachersNYC and the NYC STEM Education Network are coordinating a series of free indoor and outdoor in-person gatherings for K12 STEM teachers across the five boroughs. Get together and have some STEM fun! Try something new, connect with or tour one of the amazing STEM nonprofits in our city, and take some new inspiration and resources back to your classroom!
