About Me

Qiao Feng is a high school science teacher in New York City with a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Columbia University. He teaches Biology, Chemistry, and AP Biology at Salanter Akiba Riverdale High School. Qiao designs innovative lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Qiao is an active member of STEMteachersNYC. In 2024, he was awarded the Siegel Family Endowment Fellowship for his commitment to peer-driven professional learning. That same year, he co-led the professional development workshop Life Science Evolved: Teaching in the Age of NGSS. In 2025, he joined the STEMteachersNYC Board of Directors as a Member-at-Large, continuing his commitment to building collaborative teacher communities and advancing 21st-century science education.
