Would you like to be part of a collaborative community of physics educators looking for ways to create highly engaging and effective learning environments? Join the Physics Teachers Working Group to meet monthly with your peers and grow your practice!

The working group brings together teachers of Regents, AP, IB, and grade level physics along with those who interact with physics in their computer science, precalculus, and university level classrooms. Discussions are driven by the members in the meeting and can range from kinematics to geometric optics to new Regents labs and more!

What You Can Expect

Collaborative Learning

Educators partner to explore problems of practice and best practices for highly effective physics instruction.

Curriculum Exploration

The working group tackles new changes to curriculum and assessments to identify strong strategies for teaching new material.

Shared Resources

Access a shared resource folder and google group for resources, upcoming events, and professional development opportunities.

Group Field Trips

The working group is hoping to have in person trips for its members to particle accelerators and other amazing sites!
