The SAMPE Foundation awarded STEMteachersNYC with a $5,000 grant to support the 2020 STEM Summer Institute.  The SAMPE Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE).  It promotes education and innovation in materials and processes on a global basis.

The Foundation strives to supply the fuel for growth and innovation, particularly at the kindergarten through 12th grade level, and seeks to use its funds to stimulate an interest in and provide access to the tools required for future technological growth in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

STEMteachersNYC is honored to have been selected for this award in recognition of its innovative work in promoting excellence in STEM teaching and wishes to thank SAMPE Foundation Chairman Ted Lynch, President Leslie Cohn and Board member Paul Marks, as well as Program Administrator Joseph Ingalls.

We are putting the money to good use with a great line-up of virtual workshops.  Don’t miss out! Register now!  https://stemteachersnyc.org/summer2020/
