Stewardship, Data Tools, & Lesson Support

All teachers are welcome on the third Thursday of the month to join the Teaching Climate Change working group for lesson support, data tools, inspiring stewardship stories, and more!

Teaching Climate Change Working Group

Welcome to the Teaching Climate Change Working Group—a collaborative community for educators committed to helping students understand, question, and take informed action on the defining environmental challenges of our time. This group brings together teachers from across the country who want to deepen their knowledge of climate science, explore effective classroom strategies, and create learning experiences that empower students to think critically about the planet’s future.

Whether you teach Earth Science, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or broader interdisciplinary courses, this working group offers a dynamic space to explore the science, systems, and stories behind climate change. Together, we’ll unpack instructional resources, examine real-world data, and experiment with strategies that support climate literacy, resilience, and problem-solving across grade levels.

What You’ll Experience

Dive into climate concepts, case studies, and instructional strategies that connect directly to classroom practice.

Hands-On Resources

Access curated lessons, data sets, simulations, and discussion prompts that you can immediately use with students.

A Supportive Educator Network

Join a welcoming group of teachers who share ideas, challenges, and successes in building meaningful climate learning experiences.

Join Us!

Become part of an inspiring and growing network of educators who are shaping the next generation of climate thinkers and problem-solvers. Whether you’re here to strengthen your curriculum, expand your teaching practice, or fuel your passion for climate education, this group is your space to learn, connect, and lead.

Let’s prepare students for the future—one conversation, one lesson, and one inspired classroom at a time.
