About the Workshop
DEVELOPED BY A TEACHER for the CLASSROOM! Join us for a gamified workshop about Educational Math Card Games. In this workshop, we will learn how to play the physical and virtual versions of Mathic Games. We will explore both ‘Mathic Number: The Card Game of Arithmetic’, and ‘Mathic Fraction: The Card Game of Fractions’. Mathic Games are STEM.org Authenticated Educational Games that introduce and reinforce math operations, facts, and concepts. Mathic Games are very versatile math games where players compete to collect the most points by computing equations and earning tokens. These games can be used as resources to help students practice and master math, as well as gain confidence in mathematics. Teachers can use Mathic Games with remedial and enrichment groups, as well as during a test review. We’ll explore how the games can be used in your classrooms and in the homes of your students. There is no download necessary for this internet-based session. Learn more about Mathic Games @ www.mathicgames.com
