About the Workshop
What better time than now to revamp your quadratics unit? We’ll help you rethink how to factor quadratic expressions and solve quadratic equations using some nontraditional approaches that are guaranteed to maximize students’ understanding and retention. Uncover the secrets to never having to teach the quadratic formula to the tune of “pop goes the weasel” again! Join master teachers Manjula Nair and Sharona Kahn in a workshop designed for algebra teachers to help rethink their quadratic unit – they will share their respective “Quadratic Hacks”, and you will have time to try them out and adapt to your teaching context!
Cost: $25 (Limited # of tickets!)

CUNY Pre-service teachers may attend for free; Brooklyn College Pre-service teachers receive Field Site hours. Please reach out if your school requires an invoice. We are an NYCDOE MTAC Vendor.
