About the Mini-Workshop
Join The GIANT Room for an epic session of tinkering, making, and sharing. We’ll kick off the workshop by picking challenges from a box, mixing and matching, and ideating solutions. Participants will then receive a box with mysterious materials they can use to build prototypes of their ideas. In addition to their mystery box, you can use any tools and fabrication machines in the space with the support of the GIANT team.
STEM in the City Spring 2022 is a (mostly) FREE In-person series for teachers! This spring STEMteachersNYC and the NYC STEM Education Network are coordinating a series of free indoor and outdoor in-person gatherings for K12 STEM teachers across the five boroughs. Get together and have some STEM fun! Try something new, connect with or tour one of the amazing STEM nonprofits in our city, and take some new inspiration and resources back to your classroom!
