Grant Categories and Awards
Teacher2Teacher Grant
This grant awards $1,000 to individual teachers, with up to five awards available. It is designed to support individual educators who wish to share successful strategies, lessons, or units with colleagues through workshops, small-group professional learning communities, or collaborative teaching sessions.
Teacher2School Community Grant
This category provides $5,000 to teacher teams, with up to three awards available. It empowers teams to extend successful collaborative efforts to other grades, schools, or districts. Projects might include sustainability initiatives within professional learning communities, inter-school collaboration programs, or practices involving co-teaching.
Teacher2STEM Community Grant
One significant award of $10,000 is available under this grant, targeted at expanding established projects, curricula, or educational units to broader communities or entirely new contexts. Examples include scaling successful STEM programs nationally or internationally, or developing larger community-oriented initiatives.
Optional School EPIC Extension
Schools may opt to contribute additional funding ($1,000 to $2,000) to support individual or team projects. These funds could enhance cross-curricular integration, intervisitation opportunities, or further professional development for teachers.
Project Priorities for 2025-2026
We encourage innovative proposals that help educators share their expertise broadly, establish or enhance local teacher learning communities, and foster collaboration across grades and disciplines through joint planning, intervisitation, and interdisciplinary projects.
