The National Museum of American Indian in NYC is opening a new STEM Activity center focused on indigenous science and innovation.  It’s an incredible space dedicated to Native knowledge and the relationship among science, technology, and society in historical and contemporary American Indian communities.They are hosting an open house on May 17 for teachers and families. In this family-friendly, interactive space, visitors of all ages will explore Native scientific discoveries and inventions so ingenious many continue to affect the modern world. This exploration is made even more fun by solving puzzles, performing experiments, and playing state-of-the-art computer simulations.
