Participants in this workshop will consider how the redesigned Physics AP1 expectations differ from AP Physics B and how that affects the practice questions we use in our classes to help students meet the new expectations. AP Physics 1 exam asks students to think of Physics problems in multifaceted way as students are expected to develop a deep knowledge of Physics content and be able to communicate their knowledge in algebraic, graphical, and written formats. We will identify the new question styles, review the new AP expectations, and then work collaboratively to practice writing questions that align with the AP Physics 1 Learning Objectives and Skills.
