The Science Council of New York City (SCONYC) is a nonprofit organization advocating for science teachers and promoting effective science education in NYC schools through its annual networking conference and collaboration with educators, administrators, and vendors. This year SCONYC will be partnering with STEMteachersNYC to offer workshops for STEM teachers and participants.

Celebrating Connections Across the Community is an opportunity to explore successes, challenges, ideas, and more with New York City area educators. Join us as a presenter to share your best science lessons, assessment methods, or NGSS-focused work as a 50 minute workshop at the conference on the morning of March 8th, 2025. Deadline to submit is January 30th, 2025. We are looking for hands-on interactive 50 minute sessions that cover a science / NGSS topic or assessment or science teaching method.
